I
must say that I LOVE my job! I stumbled upon wedding photography about
2 years ago and now I can't image my life without this passion. It is
truly a blessing to be invited by a bride to photograph one of the most
intimate and memorable days of their life. My journey as a REAL photographer
all started once I photographed my first wedding when my sister-in-law
asked me to help her photograph a friend's wedding. Being that I loved
to take pictures and I had a brand new digital camera, I jump at the opportunity.
I fell head over heals in love with photographing weddings instantly.
I couldn't wait to do it again. So, I found some well established wedding
photographers and asked if I could assist them. Since then, I have photographed
over 50 weddings, upgraded my equipment, and have learned more information
than I thought my brain could hold! The best part is, though, that I can't
wait to go to my next wedding and I am eager to learn even more stuff.
It's like a am addicted to weddings and obsessed with learning how to
do things the best way.
My friends and family always tease me because I prefer to shop at Nordstrom,
Potterybarn and Ethan Allen. I guess you could say that I have always
enjoyed spending money on the finer things, not wanting to skimp on quality.
Well, with photography I do the same. Not that I am comparing myself to
Nordstrom! LOL... The "Nordstrom" photographers are the ones who photograph
celebrities. I am not there... YET! However, I aspire to be a "Nordstrom"
photographer, meaning that my goal is to give my clients the best possible
service and product. I want my bride to feel like a movie star for the
day. And I want her to look back on her wedding pictures and believe in
her beauty. Capturing the romance that has enchanted the bride and groom
is also on the top of my list. But the most important thing to me is to
document the wedding day, recording all of the precious details, and to
create a gorgeous wedding album that tells a unique and intriguing love
story. Thank you so much for viewing my work. I would love to hear from
you!
