Heather's passion for photography began when she was young, around eleven years old, when she realized that a photograph was more than just an object she could hold in her hands, it was an experience, one that could hold distant memories solid in your mind, refresh thoughts of old friends and loved ones, and capture the smallest moment and preserve it forever.

What she appreciates most about photographing weddings is the privilege of being present, in a profoundly moving way, at one of the most joyous and transforming events people experience in their lifetimes - their wedding day. She chose to photograph weddings because she wanted to make photos that really meant something to people and have a great sense of value. Her hope and prayer is to be able to give back to the bride and groom, and their families and friends, a lasting memory of those small and precious moments that often get lost in the blur of the day's activity, and to help preserve the magic of their experience forever.
