Julie Hopkins is the owner and photographer of Camera Creations. Julie's background includes an international career as a professional ballet dancer, a B.A. degree in art history from Loyola Marymount University, a certificate in photography from Santa Monica College, and several years as a fine art gallery administrator. Julie is published in Dance Magazine, Pointe magazine and several art publications.

Julie enjoys getting to know the engaged couple by shooting an engagement session or some candid shots at a couples home in advance of the wedding whenever possible. She believes that familiarity with the couple during photo shoots before the wedding makes for spontaneous wedding imagery.

Julie's passionate approach to shooting weddings is not only relaxed and unobtrusive, but also highly influenced by her fine art background and in the areas of dance, portrait, events and architecture. She understands that each wedding is different and a unique reflection of ones personal history and taste.
